The funds raised during these days are going to support the Association’s projects: the construction of a multipurpose centre in the Philippines , in which provide food, medical exams and cultural-artistic moment for needy children and students in Paombong; and the culture project “Petali di pace” for the schools and the population of Ticino.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13TH 2017 – PALAZZO DEI CONGRESSI, LUGANO FROM 9:00 A.M TO 4:00 P.M

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

Inauguration of the 7th World Forum for Peace in the presence of renowned guests and with Mrs Margherita Maffeis, President and Founder of the Culture Ticino Network Association and Roberto Badaracco, Municipal of the City of Lugano. Musical entertainment will be followed by students of the Massagno media school and their teacher of music education Beppe Sanzari.

The Palazzo dei Congressi will be transformed into a real  “Village of Peace” with 11 seats, where structured workshops will be organized based on the age of the partecipants. Entries are open to elementary, middle, high school and professional students.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 18TH 2017 – VILLA SASSA, LUGANO FROM 5:00 P.M

At the splendid setting of the Villa Sassa Hotel Residence in Lugano will be held the special evening dedicated to PEACE and the Philippines. We are pleased to have this year with us, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Switzerland and the Philippines, several renowned Ticino and international guests, including Ambassador of the Philippines Joselito Alegado Jimeno, the Consul M.T. Lazaro, Mayor of Lugano Marco Borradori and Commander of border guards Mauro Antonini.

 

 

 

 

 

 

There will also be presentation of the Culture Ticino Network Association projects with two Philippines guests: Maria Lota Gonzales President and founder of the Children of Paombong Philippines Association and Vice Mayor of Paombong Cristina Gonzales. To cheer the first part of the evening there will be the half soprano Julia Gertseva with the children’s choir “La Musica”.

During the evening you can also attend the inauguration of the collective art exhibition of the three Philippine artists:

The Solidarity Gala Dinner will be followed by surprises and during which we will be delighted by the wonderful voices of Filipino soprano Armela Fortuna-Widmer and Italian tenor Mirko Provini. In great demand comes back to the Acoustic Dreams group for musical entertainment. The evening will be presented by Maristella Polli, V.I.P of Ticino.
