Sunday, 2 October 2011, had three round tables scheduled, which took place immediately after the surprise musical performance of the “Canticle of the Sun” (Canticum o Laudes Creaturarum), by Vox Nova choir. Thereafter, all the artists who performed during Saturday’s concerts were involved in an exciting brainstorm with many renowned acts of the local musical scene, such as Maestro Bruno Amaducci and Denise Fedeli, OSI’s artistic director (Orchestra della Svizzera italiana). Later during the day, Maurizio Tamagni (President of Damiano Tamagni Foundation), former State Counsellor Luigi Pedrazzini, and more personalities from the above-mentioned foundation, discussed the topic of youth violence, proposing raise-awareness activities for the youth, promoted by Fondazione Idee Sport through its projects “Midada” and “Midnight“.
In conclusion, the topic of discussion switched to “using social networks and internet to spread the culture of peace among people”. Finally, Culture Ticino Network’s team and all its volunteers, accompanied by the sweet melodies of Vox Nova choir, greeted all the guests warmly.
The great success of the 1st edition turned the “Generations in the heart of Peace: from Ticino to the World” World Forum into a tradition.
