Culture Ticino Network Association is pleased to invite you to get us in the 7th Peace World Forum’s locations, which will take place from November 13th to December 7th 2017.

Monday, November 13, 2017 – Palazzo dei Congressi

The first day of the World Forum for Peace is a day dedicated to schools in the canton of Ticino and will be held from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at Palazzo dei Congressi in Lugano on Piazza Dipendenza 4, CH-6900 Lugano.

    Highway A2 direction Italy, exit “Lugano Nord“, take direction “Hospital / Palazzo dei Congressi.”
    Highway A2 direction Bellinzona-Gottardo, exit “Lugano Sud” and follow indicators “Palazzo dei Congressi”.

We recommend using the Lugano Sud motorway exit and follow the signs ”Palazzo dei Congressi”. The cars and vans up to a height of 2.2 m can be parked in the parking deck in Piazza Castello, or in the public parking of Campo Marzio (5 minutes by foot from Palazzo dei Congressi). Tickets for a two day parking can be purchased at a rate of Chf. 17.- at the Directorate of Lugano Turismo (Monday to Friday during office hours), or eventually to the Congress secretary.

    For trafficking Paradiso – Railway Station – Lugano Centre – Castagnola, take the bus N° 2 and get off at “Palazzo dei Congressi”.
    For trafficking Breganzona – Lugano Centre – Cornaredo, take the bus N° 3 and get off at “Palazzo dei Congressi”.

    If you come from Lugano Railway Station, the center is easily accessible on foot or by public transport. On foot ca. 10 minutes. Or take the bus N ° 2 directed to Castagnola and get off at “Palazzo dei Congressi.”

Sunday, November 18, 2017-  Villa Sassa Hotel Residence & Spa

The second day  of the 7th World Forum for Peace  will take place from 5:00 pm at the marvelous Villa Sassa in Lugano, Via Tesserete 10, 6900 Lugano (Tel: +41 (0)91 911 41 11)

    Highway A2 direction Bellinzona-Gottardo, exit “Lugano Sud”, take the direction to the train station.
  • By Train
    The Hotel is just 10 minutes walk from the Lugano railway station. (www.ffs.ch)
  • By Bus
    Take the bus N ° 4 and get off at the stop “Sassa“.
    If you come from Lugano center or from the Lugano railway station, take the line N ° 4 directed to Canobbio.

Sunday, November 19, 2017 – Cinema Lux in Massagno

The third day of the World Forum offers a show, from 3:30 pm, in the name of social justice at the Cinema Lux in Massagno located in Via Giuseppe Motta 61, CH-6900 Lugano. Tel .: +41 (0) 91 967 30 39

    Highway A2 direction Bellinzona-Gottardo, exit “Lugano Sud“, take to the railway station.
  • By Bus
    Take the bus N° 5 and get off at stop “Al Sole“.
    If you come from Lugano center, take the bus N ° 5 directed to Lamone – Cadempino.
  • By Train
    If you come from Lugano Railway Station, take Via Clemente Maraini / Route 2 and follow Via San Gottardo direction Massagno. After approx 700m turn left into Via Giuseppe Motta. They are 15m ca. on foot.
    Or take the bus N ° 4 stop “Genzana” and get off at “Al Sole” (2 stops).

Tuesday, November 21 , 2017 – Franklin University, Sorengo

    Take the bus at multy-storey “Balestra” direction “Lugano-Sorengo-Agra”, the bus stop is Sorengo, Clinica S. Anna, after 200 meters there is the University.

    If you come from Lugano Railway Station, take the funicolar until “Piazza Cioccaro” , on foot go to Via Pessina, then Piazza Dante until via Serafino Balestra, on the right there is the multy-storey “Balestra” , follow the information “By Bus”

Thursday, December, 7, 2017 – S. Antonio Church, Lugano

The last day of the World Peace Forum will be a solidary concert at the S. Antonio Church in Lugano, Piazza Dante.
