Workshop 1: “The World and its Cultures”
Organized by Associazione Culture Ticino Network, a non profit, non-political and non-denominational, created to promote the culture of peace and solidarity from the Ticino to the World. The workshop will include various guests cuh as the famous Sinplus. In the afternoon the International Zonta Club of Lugano will join us, as well as other surprise guests.
Workshop 2:
Interactive workshop and philosophical edited by Dr. Chiara Colombo, educator and expert in philosophy with children. Through the interactive activities we will try to make it clear to the boys, through reasoning personal sense of philosophical phrases that will be analyzed during the workshop, bringing them back into the society of today.
¨ “DEBTS OF GRATITUDE” (for primary schools): laboratory indicated for primary school children. The main objective will be to ensure that the boys try to answer questions like “What parts of me I received from others”, “What it means to be the result of my family history?”. Children explore the limits and possibilities of living exist as a product of a family history. For more information see the tab HERE
¨ “KNOW YOURSELF” (for secondary schools): The aim will be to answer the children questions such as “How do I know?”, “What do you know about me through my family?”. For more information see the tab HERE
¨ “BE INVISIBLE” (for high schools). The aim will be to answer questions like these guys: “How I would act if I were not forced to follow the rules?”, “Why are the rules, at home and away?”.

Workshop 3: “Peace Resembles Me”
Art workshop organized by Dr. Paola Parma, corporate trainer, expert in communication and creative art therapist APIART. After a brainstorming on the concepts of family, diversity and peace will finalize proposals artistic activities make up a large poster / mandala. At the end of the day you can see all the work the guys hanging and make any comparisons and reflections.

Workshop 4: “THEATRE AND HUMAN VALUES” for SE, SM and high schools
Theater workshop by Teatro screen of Locarno, an association of public utility designed to actively promote the culture, especially the theater. Through a practical and interactive workshop using various theater games, they pass in review the main conditions necessary for a good result of teamwork which is the theater. A theater company is a family trying together to achieve its purpose.

Workshop 5: “USE FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, WhatsApp WITHOUT TRAPS” only for SM from 13.30 to 15.30
Technological laboratory by Paolo Very active, a journalist specializing in computer science and popular science. Through hands-on experiments conducted with the participants appear explicitly harmful effects of more frequent and embarrassing incorrect setting of the social network and will propose behavioral guidelines to allow the safe and enjoyable of these communication environments.

Workshop 6: (For SE, SM)
Organized by the SOS Children’s Village, a nonprofit organization when the reception of children without parental care. We learn about the family model of SOS Children’s Villages and the various institutions under additional assistance, training and health.
“THE DISCOVERY OF A VILLAGE” (for primary schools): through the game Goose children are learning about the family model of SOS Children’s Villages and the various institutions under additional training, and health care. The pawns are the children of the different countries that the students, in groups, take you through the game in their life path. For every box you will find some of their special stories and those who accompany them on this journey.
“HOW TO BREAK THE VICIOUS CIRCLE OF POVERTY?” (For secondary schools): the kids learn about the family model of SOS Children’s Villages and the various institutions under additional assistance and training. Through movies and questions for pupils will come to give an answer to the title of the presentation.

Workshop 7: “ERICHANATHAM” (documentary film) for SE, SM and high schools
Organized by the ASSEFA, nonprofit organization that promotes the creation of community non-violent, peaceful and harmonious India. Watching a film made to raise awareness of the work that ASSEFA place in India, in particular as it undertakes not to let the children being exploited for piecework, but rather help them by offering the schools where they can build a future.

Workshop 8: (For SE, SM and high schools)
Organized by the Youth for Human Rights, non-profit organization, independent and secular in order to teach the youth of the world human rights.
The aim will be to teach young human rights, in particular the Universal Declaration on Human Rights of the United Nations, so as to inspire them to become valuable advocates for tolerance and peace.

Workshop 9: “RELIANCE FAMILY” for SE, SM and high schools
Organized by the ATFA, it aims to raise awareness and inform the public about the reality of foster family. The final aim is to introduce children and young people the reality of foster family.

Workshop 10: “SCHOOLS, COMPANIES ‘, FAMILY: MUTUAL INFLUENCES” for SE, SM and high schools
Organized by the Atkye, non-profit association that operates in Kenya. They will try to investigate the evolution of influences, influences, dynamics between schools and families in certain social contexts.

Workshop 11: “AND IF IT HAPPENED TO YOU” for SM 3-4 and high schools
Through the reading of testimonies of children living in conflict zones, Dr. Julia Schürch and the nurse Laura Piedmont, collaborators of Doctors Without Borders, will take children on a journey of discovery, providing information and insights, encouraging the active participation of students. The testimony of children, of their lived realities in a faraway countries, their escape to a better world, wants to bring the kids food for thought about their living conditions. At first proposes the individual reading the stories, then still have to answer individually to the questions which will then be discussed in the group; The two volunteers will bring their experiences, the necessary information and encourage the expression of the doubts and questions of the boys.
