The project has been a big success: Culture Ticino Network Association, along with it many other partners, was able to raise the funds necessary to purchase a minivan, that was delivered in spring 2015 to the Daily Center GenerazionePiù in Lugano.

The minivan will be at the disposal of handicapped and disabled people and people with low income not able to use public or private transport to reach the Daily Center GenerazionePiù and other centers. The funds for the minivan were donated by our Association but also by old and new supporters, including the Evangelical Foundation Matilde Witzig and the Fidinam Foundation.

The fundraising doesn’t stop here: the gathering of funds for the “Solidarity’s Minivan” goes on, in order to sustain its maintenance costs.

The official delivery of the minivan took place Friday, May 29, at the Garage Della Santa in Giubiasco.
