On Saturday, December 7, 2019, from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM, at the UBS Multipurpose Hall in Manno:
The first successful brainstorming workshop with the theme “Human Rights and Climate Change” was held. Students, professors, associations, and local authorities came together to discuss environmental and climate-related topics in groups, bringing to light issues and possible solutions to be pursued in 2020.
The health of the biosphere and the integrity of the Earth system directly impact the protection of human rights. Climate change directly affects the lives of the poorest, weakest, most vulnerable, and especially the younger population.
