Peace and Senior Wellness

You are all invited to participate on Wednesday March 18th, 2026 at the Hotel de la Paix of Lugano a our special event starting from 17:30, titled “PEACE AND WELLNESS IN THE THIRD AGE”, aimed to promote solidarity and education on the theme of dementia.

At 17:30 guests will be welcomed and they will have the opportunity to visit the solidarity art exhibition on peace “The Cycle” by Swiss and Filipino artist Mario Brunner, as well as interact with the renowned guests.

The speeches of the event will officially begin at 18:00, with the welcoming presentations by A. Margherita Maffeis-Natale, president and founder of the Associazione Culture Ticino Network of Lugano, and by Ana Bel Mayo, of ENFiD Italia.

To best engage in the themes of dementia, from it’s causes to the ways to prevent it, we have invited some internationally renowned speakers, such as the CEO Ellen Samson, Internationally Certified Dementia Practioner Geriatric Care Manager, Dr. Maria Beebe, Founder and CEO of the Kaisipan Inc. of Manila for the improvement of the education level of Philippines, Dr. Maria Victoria Lualhati, President and CEO of the Beyond Medical Hub of Batangas City and member of the Board of Directors of the Kaisipan Inc., the CEO Gerry Palon, President of the national Coalition of Filipino American Chambers of Commerce (COFACC) and Ms. Marizel Rojas, Board Member of the United Nations Correspondents Association Vienna (UNCAV) and first Vice President of the United Nations Women’s Guild (UNWG). These speeches will happen in English. Afterwards, there will be an intervention by Ms. Pamela Fassora, co-director of the Alzheimer Association of the Canton Ticino.

We would like to thank in advance Ms. Cristina Alini of Business Translations for the translation service during the evening, and Mr. Giacomo Morandi from the Web-TV Chiasso for his presence.

The evening will have a musical accompaniment by the Philippine singer Abegail Dorado, and a choreographical one orgaised by the Associazione Comunità Filippina del Ticino and by the Philippine Catholic Community in Tessin

To conclude the evening there will be a charity aperitif dinner

The price for the event will be of CHF 40.00 p.p.

There will also be the possibility to pay the entry fee directly on the day and place of the event.

The funds raised from the event will be used by the Associazione Culture Ticino Network to finance the project “TESDA Scholarships”, project aimed to help women and students in the Philippines to get an education in the sectors of catering and bakery. Every participant will be able to actively help creating a better future for people in need.
