Saturday 24 June 2017: San Zosimo Award in Lavena Ponte Tresa – recognition for peace
On Saturday, June 24, 2017, the President of the Culture Ticino Network Association, A. Margherita Maffeis-Natale, received recognition for her commendable work for peace over the years from Stefano Cropanese, the founder of the Reatium Association and the San Zosimo Award.
The ceremony took place at the Church of SS. Crocifisso in Lavena Ponte Tresa. During the same evening, the actress Claudia Koll was also honored with the San Zosimo Award.
Over the years, the San Zosimo Award has been presented to several famous personalities such as Pope Francis, Andrea Bocelli, and Ennio Morricone.
The ceremony was enlivened by the participation of choirs from the region.
