On Thursday, November 21, 2019, at 6:00 PM, in the Multipurpose Hall of the Evangelical Church in Lugano
This special evening dedicated to human rights, titled “La violazione dei diritti umani: Parliamone insieme” (“Human Rights Violation: Let’s Talk About It Together”), received the significant endorsement of the 30th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Swiss Forum for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue.
The event featured Markus Krienke, a professor of modern philosophy and social ethics at the Faculty of Theology in Lugano, Mrs. Roberta Wullschleger, a philosopher and collaborator of Pro Juventute in Ticino. The event was moderated by Giuseppe La Torre, president of the Swiss Forum for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue.
During the evening, our president Margherita Maffeis presented the various projects that our Culture Ticino Network Association supports in Ticino and the Philippines.
At the end of the evening, a solidarity dinner with Filipino specialties was held.
