The Culture Ticino Network Association in Lugano is pleased to invite you to this special 10th Anniversary of the cross-border event “WALKING FOR PEACE!” The walk will take place on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm between Malcantone and Varesotto. The programme mirrors the latest editions: click here:

This event is a significant moment for us, as it is part of the celebrations of our first ten years of the cross-border event for “Peace and Children’s Rights”. During the walk, there will be convivial moments dedicated to both adults and children, aiming to raise awareness about the culture of Peace among young people and adults.

In order to celebrate this important anniversary, we have also organised two other events in nearby Italy. The first will be the Cultural Solidarity Event, which will take place on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Palazzo Verbania in Luino from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with renowned guests, entertainment, and refreshments. The main event will be, as previously announced, the much-anticipated 10th edition of “Walking for Peace” on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. The concluding event will be the Solidarity Concert on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the Bennet Hall in Lavena Ponte Tresa from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm, featuring prominent guests and international artists.

We are honoured to announce that this year we are Partners of the Third World March for Peace and Nonviolence, which will start on October 2, 2024, and will end on January 5, 2025, in Costa Rica. A Delegation from the Third World March will participate in our 12th edition of World Forum for Peace in Lugano, namely the Peace Village on November 5, 2024, and the Round Table and Solidarity Dinner on November 9, 2024.

In such a delicate moment, where the world finds itself permeated by more than 60 armed conflicts, our Association invites everyone not to remain silent but to take action and make concrete efforts to stop wars and violence.

The Culture Ticino Network Association is proud to be at the forefront of this mission. Since 2011, we have been organising events that not only educate and raise awareness but also create moments of sharing and deep reflection. We want to involve everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, because every voice matters, and every action counts.

Participating in our events is a concrete way to demonstrate your commitment to a better world. It is an opportunity to meet people who share the same ideals and strive for a common value: Peace. Together, we can make a difference and actively contribute to the spread of the culture of peace.

We invite everyone to join us at these three significant events. No matter how big or small your contribution may seem, every gesture of peace is a step towards a future without conflicts. Come to our events and bring your family, friends, colleagues, anyone you like. Only together and united for Peace can we build bridges of mutual understanding and a better world.
